Customer's Responsibility
Shipments are made F.O.B point of origin.

Standard Shipping
Carlson JPM Store Fixtures uses UPS Ground Service as its standard shipping method on most orders.

Truck Shipments
Because of size and weight limitations certain items must be shipped via truck (including but not limited to standalone display cases, counter cases, large merchandising units and certain slatwall panels). If an order contains both truck ship and standard ship items it is usually cheaper to ship the whole order via truck. There may be a crating charge for large items.

Truck Freight Discounts
We have negotiated discounted freight rates with several common carriers. If your order exceeds UPS size and weight limitations, whenever possible, we will ship via one of these carriers. If you have a preferred freight line, please indicate during checkout in the "Comments" area on your order. If freight estimates are requested, these Estimates are only "Estimates" and purchaser will be required to pay full invoice amount.

Drop Shipments
Some items also ship directly from our factory to the customer and do not pass through our central warehouse. These are known as "Drop Ship" items. Since it is possible for drop items to originate from different locations the website does not quote freight on these items. Please contact us for quotes on drop ship freight.. If your order contains both standard and drop ship items, it will usually require multiple shipments to transport your goods. Some items are both Drop and Truck Ship items.

About Online Shipping Quotes
The UPS Ground shipping quote calculated at checkout is a BEST ESTIMATE given product weights, materials, typical packaging and current UPS rates. Your actual shipping charge may vary. The website does not attempt to quote freight on Drop Ship or Truck Ship items. Expedited shipping (air, overnight) is available upon special request--any special shipping instructions should be included in your comments upon checkout.

Returns
Custom made and special order goods are not returnable. A return authorization number from our customer service department is required on all returned goods and must be requested within 30 days of receipt of the goods. Returns must be freight prepaid and are subject to a 25% restocking charge. Unauthorized returns will be charged a 50% restocking fee. Slatwall, showcase, glass and custom display are not returnable.

Damages and Shortages
It is important that you count and inspect all cartons immediately upon receipt. Make sure any damage or shortage is noted on the bill before signing. If the shipment was delivered by UPS, please contact our customer service department within 5 days. Save all packing materials. If your order was delivered by truck, YOU MUST ADD A COMMENT ON THE BILL OF LADING STATING THAT THE THERE MAY BE CONCEALED DAMAGE DUE TO CRUSHED BOXES, AND THE claim must be filed directly with the freight line. Save ALL packing material for inspection. Feel free to contact our customer service department for assistance in filing your claim.
