Shipping Information

Shipments are made FOB our warehouse or point of origin. We ship UPS

whenever possible. All orders include a $5.00 handling fee. This charge appears

on your online order confirmation and it is also included in the freight charge

line of your invoice.

 

Due to different points of origin, your order may not be shipped together,

which can result in multiple freight charges. Carlson JPM does not set or

control freight/shipping rates. We reserve the right to select the most

economical method of shipment.

 

Standard Shipping

Carlson JPM Store Fixtures uses UPS Ground Service as its standard shipping

method. If your order will be shipped by UPS, please specify the destination is a

business or a personal residence.

 

Estimated Shipping Time

We provide an Estimated Ship Time when you place an order. The Estimated

Ship Time may vary depending on the product type and shipping location.

Products shipped from our Corporate Warehouse ship within 3 business days

from processing date; products shipped from our out-of-state locations ship

within 15 business days from processing date, but many items ship sooner.

Truck Shipments

Because of size and weight limitations certain items must be shipped via truck

(including but not limited to stand alone display cases, counter cases, large

merchandising units and certain slatwall panels). If an order contains both

truck ship and standard ship items it is usually cheaper to ship the whole order

via truck. There may be a crating charge for large items.

 

Common carriers or tailgate trucks provide dock service only, and unloading

is the customer’s responsibility. Transporting the merchandise inside is also the

customer’s responsibility. Inside delivery may be available in your delivery area

for an additional charge.

 

Truck Freight Discounts

We have negotiated discounted freight rates with several common carriers.

If your order exceeds UPS size and weight limitations, whenever possible,

we will ship via one of these carriers. If you have a preferred freight line, please

indicate during checkout in the "Comments" area on your order. If freight

estimates are requested, these Estimates are only "Estimates" and purchaser

will be required to pay full invoice amount.

 

About Online Shipping Quotes

The UPS Ground shipping quote calculated at checkout is a BEST ESTIMATE

given product weights, materials, typical packaging and current UPS rates.

Your actual shipping charge may vary.

 

The website does not attempt to quote freight on Truck Ship items. Expedited

shipping (air, overnight) is available upon special request--any special

shipping instructions should be included in your comments upon checkout.

 

Additional charges may apply to special shipping requests. Additional charges

will be added to the customer's invoice.

 

Returns

Custom made and special order goods are not returnable.

For all other products, a return authorization number from our customer service

department is required on all returned goods and must be requested within 30

days of receipt of the goods. Returns must be freight prepaid and are subject

 to a 25% restocking charge. Unauthorized returns will be charged a 50%

restocking fee.

 

Damages and Shortages

It is important that you count and inspect all cartons immediately upon

receipt. Make sure any damage or shortage is noted on the bill before signing.

If the shipment was delivered by UPS, please contact our customer service

department within 5 days. Save all packing materials. If your order was

delivered by truck, YOU MUST ADD A COMMENT ON THE BILL OF LADING

STATING THAT THERE MAY BE CONCEALED DAMAGE DUE TO CRUSHED

BOXES, and the claim must be filed directly with the freight line. Save ALL

packing material for inspection. Feel free to contact our customer service

department for assistance in filing your claim.
